Job description

Discover Nexio Projects
At Nexio Projects, we’re on a mission to accelerate the transition from compliance to purpose. As Benelux’s highest-rated B Corp Way consultancy and EcoVadis Platinum medalist for over 5 years, our diverse and entrepreneurial team empowers organisations to build a future-proof world. We set the standard in helping clients turn bold sustainability ambitions into measurable results.

The Role
The People & Culture Specialist is the driving force behind our people operations and talent experience, enabling Nexio Projects’ delivery and impact at speed. Working side-by-side with our co-CEO, you’ll champion operational effectiveness, embed scalable processes, and create the structures that help our team thrive. You keep us running smoothly, empower managers, and make space for everyone to do their best work.

This role is operational, hands-on, and all about enabling high performance and team impact. As this is a unique role, we’ll shape it as our company evolves, embracing experimentation over rigidity and supporting both day-to-day needs and long-term culture.

What you’ll do

  • Build and optimise people operations: drive recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, payroll, HRIS, and engagement processes. Always improving for speed, clarity, and scalability.

  • Support and coach managers: enable managers to lead effective teams through structured frameworks, timely feedback, and tailored training, using the latest tools to drive coaching in a scalable way.

  • Partner with co-CEO: collaborate daily to set priorities, resolve challenges, and implement effective people practices aligned with our business goals and mission.

  • Streamline and structure: analyse what works, drive continuous improvement, and eliminate complexity, making sure team members and leaders spend their time on what matters most.

  • Champion rapid learning & change: co-design scalable processes for growth, knowledge sharing, development, and wellbeing in our fast-moving consultancy.

  • Foster team impact: make sure everyone has the tools, clarity, support, and processes to make the greatest difference, whether that’s in the office or remotely.

  • Embed our values: integrate feedback, curiosity, and inclusion into everyday routines, enabling purpose-driven excellence.

How you’ll work

  • Fast and fluid: get close to the action—solve problems in real time, iterate quickly, and update processes on the fly to suit our evolving needs.

  • Collaborative and structured: you’ll be the operational backbone, but work closely with co-CEO and managers to keep us aligned and focused.

  • Experiment and adapt: try new things, evaluate, and move on fast; bring your own ideas to the table, and always adjust for what helps us work better.

What success looks like

  • Leaders and team members spend more time on impact, less on admin

  • Our people operations run seamlessly, even as we grow and change

  • Managers feel supported, equipped, and confident

  • Clear, streamlined processes that evolve with the needs of the business

  • Nexio Projects continues to attract, develop, and retain top talent

Employment Details

  • Employment type: Part-time, Fixed-term

  • Required education: Master’s degree

  • Required experience: Manager level

  • Hours per week: 24–32
